The Women’s Mystery School program is a journey of deep transformation and of reweaving a web of connection with other women in a sacred circle, with our own deepest selves and with our relationship with the Sacred Feminine and with the Earth.  Each week-end, we will learn from ancient wisdom and healing traditions (such as shamanism, traditional Chinese medicine, sound healing, astrology and herbalism), and we will create sacred ritual objects (including drums, amulets, and medicine bundles) and engage in sacred ritual together.

DETAILS OF THE 2008-2009 PROGRAM WILL BE COMING SHORTLY.  THE FOLLOWING WAS OUR PROGRAM OUTLINE FOR 2007-2008:

All sessions will meet:

Friday Evening 7:00 to 9:00 PM

Saturday 9:30 AM to 5:00 (some weekends will include an evening program from 7:00 to 9:00 PM)

Sunday 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM

September 28 ~ 30, 2007

Celebrating the time of Harvest and the Great Goddess

We begin our program by remembering the lineage of ancient Goddesses and Sacred Feminine wisdom and by honoring the time of autumn and of the Earth element.  We come together as a circle, make sacred drums and step into the realm of Mystery as we embark on our journey.

November 16 ~ 18, 2007

Honoring the Wisdom of the Dark

As we move into the dark time of the year, we deepen our understanding of the wisdom of the Dark Goddesses and of the cycle of descent and return.  We explore the meaning of the Metal element and connect with the wisdom of the serpent and the plant of deep transformation, mugwort.

January 18 ~ 20, 2008

Diving Deep

In the heart of winter, we enter into the process of deep transformation as we delve into the story of Sedna, Inuit Goddess of the Sea and our newest planet.  Working with the Water element and the wisdom of the Sea, we learn how to dissolve what no longer serves us and dive more deeply into our true selves and our relationship with Spirit.

March 21 ~ 23, 2008

Giving Birth

As we move into the Spring, we give birth to our deepest dreams and passions guided by Isis, the Ancient Egyptian Goddess and by the Wood element.  We will celebrate the coming of new life in the Earth and in ourselves in sacred ceremony.

May 16 ~ 18, 2008

Celebrating the Fire of our Power and Passion

Feeling the growing heat of the summer and honoring the element of Fire, we are guided by the Goddesses Brigid and Lilith.  As we end our cycle together, we celebrate our power, passion and joy and experience the fullness of who we are and the depth of our relationship with Spirit and with all of life.
